Elon Musk had previously stated that he would resign as Twitter’s CEO as soon as he found “someone dumb enough to take the job” after he spent $44 billion to purchase the company in late October 2022.
In a humorous post on the site on Wednesday, Elon Musk unveiled a new CEO for Twitter.
The tweet featured a photo of the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Floki, sitting at a desk while donning a t-shirt with the words CEO across it.
The Shiba Inu was wearing glasses and looked like he was looking at the Twitter spreadsheets that were all over the desk.
The new CEO is “so much better than that other guy,” Elon Musk said in the post’s description.
The latter was a dig at Parag Agrawal, famously sacked by Musk as soon as he assumed business control. At the time, Twitter’s CFO Nel Segal and head of legal Vijaya Gadde were both let go in addition to Agrawal.
The Twitter community thrived with comments about the new Twitter ‘CEO.’
