Arrangements for a strategic partnership between Google and Coinbase were made public. Selected consumers would be able to use cryptocurrency to pay for cloud solutions starting at the beginning of next year.

Web3 enterprises will first have access to a small selection of cryptocurrencies for use in cryptocurrency payments. The commerce network from Coinbase has been integrated with a number of sites, with Shopify being among the most significant.

For its enterprise cryptocurrency services, including custody and reporting, Google will be using Coinbase Prime. BlackRock, the foremost asset manager, selected Coinbase Prime for its institutional offer two months ago.
