Tokenomics
WeedVerse Strains have a total supply of 1 Billion WIID tokens. As suggested, the WIID token is used for running every service on the WeedVerse, including payments, participating in P2E games, purchasing NFTs, etc.
Out of these 1 Billion WIID tokens:
- 10% go for marketing;
- 20% go for staking; (locked for 6 months)
- 10% go for the Developers; (locked for 6 months)
- 10% are locked for one year;
- 20% will be burned; 5% of 200mil every quarter
- 10% are distributed through airdrop;
- The remaining 20% were part of the presale.
Only 40% of the total supply (400 million WIID) was initially released in the public launch.
The Future of WeedVerse
Perhaps worth emphasizing when looking at the prospects of WeedVerse are its NFTs and P2E games. The former involves an initial collection of 9999 cannabis-themed apes. With ape-related NFTs skyrocketing in value in the last few months, the same could easily occur for the likes of WeedVerse.
As for the Play-to-Earn game, it will include four main features, which involve the WeedVerse NFTs:
- Land: buying, trading, or lending the land to others may yield weed strain seeds that ultimately bring more income. The more fertile the land, the higher the yields.
- Farmer: Here, users can become farmers and mint Weedverse NFTs. With these NFTs, they can then farm weed strains.
- Thieves: these characters try to reap what the farmers sow and ultimately make the P2E game more challenging for WeedVerse players.
- Strains: the strains that the farmers cultivate can be sold in the WeedVerse marketplace, creating more trading opportunities for the WeedVerse community.
