A long-awaited upgrade that has been in the works for a while is called Shibarium. Instead of providing the layer-2 solution, the Shiba Inu team has repeatedly teased the environment. The debut of Shibarium’s beta version has been the subject of several rumors in the community.
Shytoshi Kusama, the network’s main developer, sent a cryptic statement that sparked a buzz of predictions. The vast majority of them preferred a Valentine’s Day launch. Another forecast for the launch date came true today. As was already noted, the same was allowed in his Twitter bio.
He continued by saying: “tending the Pine Tree of Life. Quickly learning to play the flute before putting Shibarium in a heart-shaped box with a bow.”
The Shiba Inu creator has repeatedly said how much he enjoys Japanese culture. The Shib Army brought up the fact that today, February 10, was flute day in Japan in light of this. Shibarium might launch later today, according to the community, as Kusama references the flute in his bio.
Based on the “heart box” mentioned in the bio, it was predicted that the launch would occur on Valentine’s Day.
Kusama or the Shiba Inu’s official Twitter account has not disclosed such information. The network earlier last month stated that the Shibarium beta Testnet was progressing quickly.
