NFL to host 2024 Drafts With Blockchain Sponsors

The National Football League (NFL) says that the NFL 2024 draft will happen on April 24 at Matthews Campus Park in Detroit. This week, the NFL began looking into blockchain sponsorship deals. For the time being, teams are still prohibited from crypto-sponsorship. Despite this fact, NFL clubs may pursue blockchain sponsorships via Coinbase and FTX for the 2024 draft.

As reported, the NFL’s sponsorship earnings hit about $2 billion in 2021. Moreover, blockchain-related sponsorships could surpass last season’s entire sponsorship value.

According to NFL Chief Revenue Officer Rennie Anderson, there is a bright future regarding the possible agreements. The proposed arrangements might attract many partners to improve company growth. In addition, these deals include the official digital wallet of the NFL and the official blockchain partners. Following on, the League marks its 30th-anniversary return to Los Angeles. To celebrate this, the NFL will give virtual commemorative tickets as non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

As mentioned by Anderson, the NFTs seem to be the best opportunity for the future. However, the NFL is still learning about NFTs. Anderson added that they are willing to learn about the different use cases. Also, the way it can change the future.
