Israel’s Mossad to Hire Expert on Crypto and Financial Technologies

Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency is reportedly actively seeking to hire a crypto expert.

Yesterday, Ynet announced that for the first time Mossad is looking to hire crypto and financial tech professionals for agents and operatives to be able to carry out anonymous payments.

Seeking out a reach in the crypto market is not a far cry for Mossad, especially considering the terrorist activities being allegedly financed through untraceable crypto transactions. The agency is apparently looking for a number of experts in cryptocurrencies and financial technology.

The leading expert on cryptocurrencies wanted by Mossad should have a 3 year experience related to the crypto market, and duties and responsibilities would include planning, organizing, initiating, and also complementing systems development tasks. The agency is also seeking out a business consultant, an expert researcher on CCTV, and a mechanical engineering expert to reportedly plan, design, manufacture, and assemble complex mechanical tools by integrating sophisticated technologies.

While Mossad made its acquisition quests rather public, whether the use of Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR) would be in the interest of the agency, or even a simple explanation to reflect the recent interest in cryptocurrencies was not disclosed.

A recent raid and seizure of 84 cryptocurrencies from a terrorist group in Hamas has been conducted by Israeli authorities. The wallet contained around $7.7 million in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Tether (USDT) among other digital currencies.
