Binance, the biggest crypto exchange by volume in the world, has revealed the establishment of its first customer service center in Turkey. One likely explanation for Binance’s selection of Turkey is the exchange’s significant traffic volume from the area.

According to Similarweb data, Turkey contributes for over 7% of desktop browser traffic to the main platform of Binance. Throughout its app, Binance will give 24/7 customer support to its Turkish users.

Binance is planning to roll out the service globally if the pilot test in Turkey pulls through. Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance stated during the Paris Blockchain Week Summit that the company intends to extend its customer services alternatives: “we provide customer support only via texting, and in the forthcoming period, we aim to roll this service also via phone in all countries.”

Binance will provide customer care in the Turkish language, and it will be available exclusively via the app, as per the release. The exchange noted that the purpose is to avoid fraud cases from starting in the first place.

Customers who need assistance will be reached via the app, and a dialogue will begin after the customer picks up and joins in on the communication. Besides extending its services and enhancing the experience of users, the prominent exchange platform is trying to increase its footprint in traditional markets by investing in businesses across all sectors of the economy.

Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance holds that “forcing traditional companies to adopt crypto will put pressure on the slow-movers and increase market competition,” in order to diversify operations and also increase the mainstreaming of crypto integration.
