Coffeezilla Accuses Khabib Nurmagomedov Of Scam

Coffeezilla, a well-known YouTuber and “Internet Detective” focusing on cryptocurrency scams, has recently accused Khabib Nurmagomedov of “scamming” his fans by utilizing NFTs. Nurmagomedov is a mixed martial arts icon.

The former UFC lightweight champion said his new line will allow customers to mine Bitcoin while giving supporters access to his “secret club.”

Nurmagomedov collaborated with GoMining, for whom he was appointed an ambassador in October 2021, to introduce his NFT line. By compensating owners of its GMT tokens and bespoke NFTs with BTC produced from its data centers, the business hopes to provide regular customers access to the Bitcoin mining sector.

Each NFT, according to the project website, would serve as a ticket to Nurmagomedov’s exclusive events hosted “many times a year.” According to the statement, each NFT is supported by 29 terahashes of computational power per second and has an energy efficiency of 35 watts per terahash, making it the most lucrative NFT produced by the business.

Khabib’s legendary 29-0 professional mixed martial arts record is referenced by the 29 TH/s hash rate. Before quitting the sport, the former champion amassed 13 victories in the UFC, solidifying his reputation as one of the best MMA competitors ever.

Yet, Coffeezilla advised the martial artist to return to the cage, given that Khabib is resuming NFT deals:

In December, the YouTuber Logan Paul came under fire from Coffeezilla for his failed NFT project, charging Paul for defrauding his fans. Paul had intended to sue Coffeezilla over the charges, but he withdrew his lawsuit plans and apologized to his supporters.

With his announcement, Nurmagomedov has joined the ranks of several other sports, celebrities, and professional fighters who have used his name to sell digital artifacts. Anderson Silva, the finest middleweight MMA fighter of all time, has an NFT collection created by Ethernity chain in 2021.
