The disaster has prompted Turkey’s disaster agency to appeal for help from the international community. At the time of writing, their search and rescue operations are ongoing. Multiple strong aftershocks have been felt across the region, including a severe quake measuring magnitude 7.5. The city of Kahramanmaraş and many neighboring major cities with millions of people have been hit by the disaster.

ByBit’s actions demonstrate its concern for the welfare of others and its willingness to take action in the face of adversity. The crypto community always welcomes such action. Thus, ByBit motivated several very strong players in the community to gather up and aid Turkey.
