Bots Inc. Enables Tesla EV Dealerships to Sell Pre-Owned Models through Dogecoin

Cryptocurrency payments have once again been made available to potential Tesla EV buyers.

Bots Inc (BTZI) is yet again enabling potential buyers to purchase Tesla electric vehicles with cryptocurrencies. Today, the announcement said that merchants are now able to accept payments from many cryptocurrencies including Dogecoin (DOGE) for buying previously owned Tesla EV’s at dealerships. Bots Inc. is among the first public companies to accept payments from Dogecoin (DOGE).

Newly produced cars are limited due to the scarcity of microchips around the globe, per the press release from Bots Inc. As such, the yielded results from this information are an increase in used car prices which led to new Tesla Model 3 cars being 3% less valuable than pre-owned Tesla Model 3.

Bots Inc. emphasized that this is an initial step of cryptocurrency integration but at some point, other dealerships and manufacturers will be presented with the same offer.

Earlier this year, Elon Musk announced that Bitcoin (BTC) will be accepted as payment for Tesla EV. While the decision was well-received after the announcement in March, Elon Musk decided to propose the opportunity to accept Dogecoin (DOGE) payments which made for quite a spectacular surge.

After a short while though, environmental concerns drove Musk to temporarily stop accepting Bitcoin (BTC) payments where the market took a sharp dip hours after the news broke. The condition for Tesla resuming the Bitcoin (BTC) payment acceptance is that miners would turn to renewable energy by 50%.
