Binance Wins Seventh Approval in Europe, Registers With Swedish Regulator

Binance has announced that Binance Nordics AB has received authorization from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority to operate as a financial institution for the administration and trading of virtual currencies. This comes after months of fruitful communication with the regulator. The company’s registration number is 66822.

With this registration, Swedish citizens will now have access to a wide range of crypto and Web3 services offered by Binance, the biggest digital asset exchange in the world, including popular euro deposits and withdrawals, euro-based crypto purchases, trading, staking, and the Binance Visa Card*.

“Binance continues to demonstrate its commitment to work closely with regulatory bodies to preserve global standards,” said Richard Teng, Head of Europe and MENA at Binance. “Our staff has been working diligently and diligently for many months to get our registration in Sweden, which demonstrates our dedication to the Swedish market and our users. We are really appreciative of the Swedish Financial Services Authority’s assistance during the application procedure and for approving our request.”

After being authorized in France, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Cyprus, and Poland, Binance is now authorized in Sweden, making it the eighth EU member state.
